Hurt, she ran away to an arcade in a mall where a Sentinel robot arrived to capture her. Saved by the X-Men, she was taken unconscious to Xavier's Mansion, where she woke up receiving support from the medical team. Eventually, Jubilee joined the X-Men, making the mutant superhero team her new family, especially Wolverine, with whom she developed a father-daughter relationship. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, Jubilee has the mutant power to generate bright multicolored energy explosions from her hands that resemble fireworks.
