Created in the comic books by Jim Starlin in 1973, way before the character started his crusade in the movies after the Infinity Stones in the super productions of the MCU, Thanos was already being established in the comic books by the cosmic mind of Starlin and other iconic authors as one of the most powerful and dangerous beings in Marvel's universe.
